NOW PLAYING: AME TRACK 10!

Once again, UP AME opens the catwalk for the fans to get a taste of the spotlight.

Time to unleash the character in you and show the world that you’re not just any fan! Join this year’s cosplay competition and dress up as your favorite character from the world of Anime, Manga, Games, Jpop or Sentai. You can go solo or join with your friends! This time around, you can also shake it on stage with our all new cosplay category: Dance Cosplay.

Walk-In Registration

Requirements: A working USB or CD containing the ff:

    • Individual
    • • A properly Filled-up registration form from (available below)
    • • Non-pixelized Full-body reference pic with acceptable size
    • Group
    • • A properly Filled-up registration form from (available below)
    • • Non-pixelized Full-body reference pics with acceptable size for all members
    • • A working Mp3 of Background music with max length of 5 minutes
    • Dance
    • • Sorry, we’re not allowing walk-in registrants. Only for online registration.


IMPORTANT:
  • Walk-in Registration will only be entertained when in costume.
  • Entries with invalid registration details and/or reference pics will not be accepted.

Mechanics for online registration:



  • 1) Download the .doc file for the cosplay category you wish to join. An individual can only join one cosplay category at a time.
  • 2) Complete the form properly. Do not alter the format. Do not fill up "Cosplayer #/Group #/Dance Group #" and the "Score" sections
  • 3) Send the .doc file to contests@up-ame.org along with the necessary references (pictures, music/BGM and video) as attachments. Indicate 'COSPLAY - INDIVIDUAL', 'COSPLAY - GROUP' or 'COSPLAY - DANCE' as the subject, depending on the entry. [Note: For Group and Dance cosplayers, please send one reference picture per character]
  • 4) You will be informed if your entry has been accepted or rejected in 1-2 days.



Format for online registration (PUT THESE IN THE SUBJECT HEADS):

  • For Individual Cosplay: [COSPLAY - INDIVIDUAL]
  • For Group Cosplay: [COSPLAY - GROUP]
  • For Dance Cosplay: [COSPLAY - DANCE]



Rules in submitting reference pictures:
  • 1) All reference pictures must contain the full body image of the character. Fanarts and real-life photos of people wearing the costume are not considered reference pictures.
  • 2) Image size must not be smaller than 300x500 pixels, but not larger than 700x700 pixels.
  • 3) Images must not have obvious pixelation.



One last reminder: PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ATTACHED YOUR REFERENCE PICTURES/BGM/VIDEOS BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY.
