CONTEST MECHANICS:
- 1. Participants (no age limit) are asked to write their arrangements of the
anime song/theme. The following must be specified:
- a. Anime song/theme
- b. Instruments utilized in the arrangement
- 2. Arrangements must be written specifically for the competition and must
not have been performed publicly prior to the competition.
- 3. The duration of the arrangement must be between 3-7 minutes.
- 4. The participant must submit the following requirements
- a. Competition Registration form
- b. 1 - 3x5 picture of the participant
- c. 3 - copies of the sheet music of the arrangement
- d. 1 - CD containing the following:
- i. Original recording of the anime song/theme
- ii. Performed arrangement with the instruments indicated in
the registration form
- 5. Materials must be emailed to redtene@yahoo.com
- 6. Deadline for submission of requirements: October 30, 2010 (online submissions)
- 7. There should be no name in the sheet music.
- 8. A jury of musicians will judge the arrangements.
- 9. The jury’s decision is final.
- 10. The material for the performance of the selected arrangements must
be made available to UP AME free of charge.
